How to Choose a Trustworthy Cleaning Company

Letting a stranger into your home or business is a decision worth a few minutes of research. Start by reading recent client reviews rather than the star rating alone — a company with a handful of detailed, recent reviews mentioning punctuality and care tells you more than a high average built on old feedback.
Ask how long the company has been trading and whether staff are directly employed or subcontracted. Established firms with their own trained teams tend to be more consistent, and it's reasonable to ask about insurance cover for any accidental damage.
Check what's included in a standard visit versus what counts as an extra — window interiors, inside the oven, or balconies are common add-ons that catch people out. A company that lists its services clearly, rather than a vague 'general cleaning', is usually easier to hold to a standard.
Finally, look at how quickly they respond to your first enquiry. A prompt, clear reply is often a good sign of how they'll handle the rest of the relationship, from scheduling to any issues that come up later.
